The original Swatch Watches were composed of round dials in plastic cases, with vibrantly coloured numbers, hands, and matching plastic wrist straps. Today's version of that popular collection can be found in the Original Gent line, some with graphic geometric designs and in a kaleidoscope of colours, ranging from palest pastel to the wildest neon shade. In the 1980s Swatch watches were quite popular among young teenagers, and they were brag with proudness by adolescents walking on the street, going to school, having a party, etc. However, the sales of these watches witnessed a fallen down in the nineties and changes have to make to maintain sales. Innovative changes were made basing on their old ways of watchmaking, and a bit of luxury was added to the simple design.
The Swatch Mister Chrono SUIB400 Watch is part of the Originals Chrono Plastic family, within the Core Collection of Swatch watches. Designed in 2007, the watch was launched in the Swatch Watch 2008 Autumn/Winter collection. The Swatch Chrono is a watch with a stopwatch function providing the facility to measure and record short times. The hands of the chronograph (seconds, minutes and hours) can be started, stopped or reset to zero by clicking on the push buttons.
