The Guess brand was founded in 1981 by four brothers; Armand, Paul, Maurice, Georges and Marciano of Debdou, Morocco. From a brand that started from selling denim jeans, it has extended its influence on more fashionable items such as eyewear, perfume, apparel, shoes and watches. Carrying the brand's imprint of design and essence of style, Guess watches have become popularly known for its fine blend of American and European sensibility. As much as the Guess brand has quickly infiltrated the popular culture with its expert fashion and branding sensibility.

Guess watches may have an outwardly simple and classy appearance, but further investigation will reveal the entire logo or simply the Guess "G" integrated seamlessly into the design, whether it be multi-coloured on the watch face or etched into the gold watch band. Guess produces both men's and women's designer watches and they are best known for their extravagant appearance.

Guess watches have been around for almost 25 years, and continue to be as daring and flashy as the controversial yet respected brand they belong to. Though they are made from semi-valuable materials and stainless steel, their price points are fairly low for designer watches and the selection for men and women is much larger and more varied. They range from 100 to 150 dollars. Guess watches are popular because they combine designer looks and a big brand name with affordability and quality. Though Guess is not nearly as classy as Gucci, it still cashes in on its sought-after timepieces.
